How Do I Choose!?

We recently had a lead who was struggling making a choice between PIMSY and another mental health EHR. They asked for some help in comparing the two program: how is PIMSY better than this other system? While we don’t feel right saying that we’re “better” than another behavioral health practice management software, we don’t mind sharing our strengths:

When you call or reach out to the PIMSY Support Team, you know and recognize their voices. They know you and your staff by name. They understand the complexities of your company and your specific billing parameters. We really are a large family, and our customers receive prompt, professional and personalized customer service.
It says a lot about a company when you can call and say, “You know, it would be great if PIMSY could do xyz” – or you wish that it would do something differently – and the Support and Development Teams actually listen and act on those ideas. When you ask for a change to PIMSY, there are two things that can happen. 1) If you need the change to happen right now, Development will give you a quote for the work which you can then approve or decline.
2) If you have a great idea, but you are willing to wait on the changes, then we will put the change into a future system update (which benefits other PIMSY users as well), and all of our customers receive the changes at no charge. We encourage our clients to give us ideas on improvements to the system. That’s literally how PIMSY grows: it’s all customer driven.
If one of your clinicians is writing a session note, but they don’t include enough lines of text to satisfy the CPT code they’re using, PIMSY won’t let them release that note until they’ve added enough documentation to satisfy the CPT requirements. If a patient’s authorizations have expired, PIMSY literally won’t show that authorization as available for the note.
You can have your providers send notes to supervisors for approval and sign-off before release. You can easily pull a report that shows you how many of your clinicians released notes late in the past month – or how many open notes they have right now, awaiting release. These are just a few examples of how PIMSY can hold your staff accountable – and these are all adjustable. You determine what type of control parameters you want for your employees, and you can set them to your specifications.
