EHR and practice management for mental / behavioral health

PQRS Resource Center

PQRS is the Physicians Quality Reporting System, a “carrot and stick” program that applies to Medicare providers. It was a voluntary system that paid incentives for providers to report on actions taken to address client statuses, but it became mandatory in 2013, carrying a penalty on all Medicare reimbursements for non-participation.

PIMSY behavioral health EHR has compiled information about the program to assist our audience and presents it from the mental health / substance abuse perspective.

(Disclaimer: Ultimately, it is the responsibility of each practice to ensure PQRS compliance. PIMSY EMR/SMIS has gathered information from various resources believed to be authorities in their field.
