Your practice has the data. PIMSY makes it answerable.
PIMSY tracks claim aging, provider productivity, authorization utilization, and overdue documentation in one place. You see what’s happening before it becomes a problem.
You can’t fix what you can’t see. Most practices can’t see much.
When someone asks “how are we doing financially?” and the honest answer is “I’ll have to pull that together,” you have a reporting problem. Decisions get delayed, problems get missed, and the staff who could act on the data are spending their time extracting it instead.
Authorization overruns you find out about too late
A clinician keeps seeing a patient. Nobody checked how many authorized units remain. The insurer stops paying at unit 20. Now you have sessions you delivered, notes you wrote, and claims that won’t get paid. Authorization tracking prevents that, but only if you can see the data.
Documentation gaps that surface at audit time
If a clinician is three weeks behind on notes, you want to know this week, not when a chart audit flags them. Chart deficiency tracking only works if someone runs the report. If the report is hard to run, it doesn’t get run.
Revenue you don’t know is sitting uncollected
Claims age in your receivables. Some are in denial. Some are in limbo. A few are about to hit timely filing deadlines and be lost. You’d act on that if you knew. Aging receivables reports tell you exactly what needs attention and how urgently.
Financial, clinical, and operational data, all in one reporting module.
PIMSY’s reporting module includes pre-built reports for the questions that come up every week, and the ability to run custom reports filtered by payer, clinician, service type, location, and date range. Export to Excel or PDF for leadership presentations, board reporting, or funder requirements.
Role-based access means executives see the financial picture, clinical supervisors see documentation compliance and outcome trends, and individual clinicians see only their own data. Everyone sees what they need. Nobody sees what they shouldn’t.
-
Financial reports: revenue by payer, clinician, service type, and date range -
Productivity reports: session counts, note completion rates, and documentation timeliness by clinician -
Authorization reports: utilization vs. authorized units and expiration tracking so you know before you run over -
Billing reports: claim status, denial rates by payer, and aging receivables so you know exactly what’s uncollected and why -
Clinical outcome measures: PHQ-9, GAD-7, and PCL-5 trends tracked and reportable across your patient population -
Chart deficiency reports: documentation gaps by clinician or date range, so supervisors can address compliance issues before they become audit findings
Reports that your team will actually run
The best reporting system is one people use. PIMSY puts reports where people already work and makes them filterable in a few clicks.
Choose your report
Start from a pre-built report for the most common questions, or build a custom report filtered by the dimensions that matter to you: clinician, payer, date range, service type, location. The filters are the same across report types.
Run it and review
PIMSY pulls from live data in your EHR, so the report reflects what’s actually in the system, not a nightly export. Financial data, clinical notes, billing status, and authorization utilization are all sourced from the same record set.
Export, share, or act
Export to Excel for further analysis or to PDF for board reporting, funder requirements, or accreditation documentation. Role-based access means the right people see the right data without a manual distribution step.
Reporting is only as good as what it’s connected to
PIMSY’s reports pull from billing, clinical, HR, and operational modules, so one report tells a complete story instead of half of one.
Reporting questions, answered
Can I build custom reports or am I limited to pre-built templates?
Both. PIMSY includes pre-built reports for the most common financial, clinical, and operational questions your team will have. You can also build custom reports filtered by the combinations of payer, clinician, service type, location, and date range that matter to your practice. If your organization has a specific reporting requirement for funders, accreditation bodies, or board governance, the custom report builder can accommodate that.
Who can see which reports?
Access to reports is controlled by user role. Executives and administrators can see the full financial picture, including revenue by payer and aging receivables. Clinical supervisors can see documentation compliance and outcome measures across the clinicians they supervise. Individual clinicians can see their own productivity and note completion data. This access structure is configurable during onboarding and can be adjusted as your team structure changes.
Does PIMSY track clinical outcome measures like PHQ-9 and GAD-7?
Yes. PIMSY tracks PHQ-9, GAD-7, PCL-5, and other standardized outcome measures as part of the clinical record. The reporting module can pull trend data for individual patients or across your full patient population. This is useful for quality improvement programs, value-based care contracts, and accreditation requirements that ask for outcome measurement data across a defined period.
How do authorization reports work?
PIMSY’s authorization reports show you how many units have been used versus how many were authorized, and flag authorizations that are approaching expiration. You can run this report by patient, by clinician, or across your full caseload. The goal is to give your clinical team and billing staff visibility into authorization status before a visit happens, not after a claim comes back denied for exceeding authorized units.
Can we use PIMSY reports for CARF or Joint Commission accreditation documentation?
Yes. PIMSY’s reporting module can generate the documentation many accreditation bodies require, including clinical outcome trends, census and occupancy data, chart deficiency tracking, and productivity by clinician. Reports export to PDF and Excel, which covers the standard documentation submission formats. We recommend reviewing your specific accreditation requirements with your PIMSY implementation team to confirm report configurations ahead of your survey cycle.
Does the reporting module work for inpatient and residential programs?
Yes. PIMSY’s inpatient and residential modules include census reports that track occupancy by unit, length of stay, and bed management data. These reports are separate from the outpatient financial and clinical reports but use the same export and role-based access controls. If your organization runs both outpatient and residential programs, both data sets are available within the same PIMSY reporting environment.
